The Columbus Coated Fabrics project is located in the Weinland Park neighborhood, located just north of downtown Columbus and immediately southeast of The Ohio State University’s main campus. This former 20-acre wallpaper plant was vacated over a decade ago and had become a severe blighting influence on this Columbus neighborhood.

In addition to receiving a Clean Ohio grant to demolish and remediate this site, Wagenbrenner is partnering with Campus Partners (OSU), the JP Morgan Chase Foundation, and The Columbus Foundation in a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization effort within Weinland Park. This effort will result in a variety of new housing options, improved educational opportunities and enhanced public safety. The City of Columbus has committed over $12 million to rebuild roads and aging infrastructure.
